My Struggle: Eating Healthy

My struggle to eat well!!! For most of my adult life, I have had poor eating habits. I never knew how important a well balanced diet is to the health of your body. In my adult years I have found that sugar is not my friend, and guess what? I love it like a bad boyfriend :) lol. So most recently, I have embarked on my healthy eating journey. After a visit to the doctor, I found out that my bad eating habits contributed to my battle with PCOS. I must say I was amazed in week one, when my body reacted to the new food and less of the bad food. 


I suggest everyone adopt a better healthy diet full of greens and exercise because the effects it will have on your body are worth it. I have cut out sugars. I cheat twice a month with ice cream. Just FYI, I'm not perfect. So here is my diet: Extra Vegetables , High Protein, No Sugar, and I drink only WATER.  For snacks, I eat fruits in moderation. In addition to this, I work out daily for about 30 minutes a day. 

This changed my life! My life is naturally stressful because of my job, but changing my diet and working out has brought new value.
